You should purchase a Medicare Supplement Policy if:

1. You anticipate medical claims in the future or if you are currently involved with a claim.

2. You can afford $80-$105 a month. This should cover all your deductibles and co-insurance costs.  Generally if Medicare approves a charge, your supplement will pay the remainder of the charges.

3. You want a hassle free health plan.

Remember: If you need drug coverage you must purchase a stand alone drug card known as a PDP or Part "D".
